Member Referral & Affiliate Terms

These terms explain how referral rewards and affiliate commissions work for Matrix Codes / Matilda.

By using a referral link, accepting these terms, or receiving referral rewards or affiliate commissions, you agree to these terms.

Free accounts may be eligible for non-cash referral rewards. Cash commissions are only available where Matrix Codes has enabled cash commission access on the account.

We may approve, pause, restrict, or remove eligibility where we believe there is misuse, fraud, misleading promotion, legal risk, payment risk, or other risk to the business or our customers.

We may use referral links, referral codes, browser storage, and server-side attribution records to connect a signup or purchase to a referring account.

Referral tracking does not work perfectly in every case, especially where links are altered, browser storage is blocked or cleared, another source is credited, or technical issues prevent attribution.

Free or non-cash rewards may be offered for certain referral activity. Reward structure may vary by campaign, product, account type, or promotion.

Unless we state otherwise in writing, referral rewards are not cash, are not transferable, and have no cash value.

Eligible paid members and approved partners may earn cash commissions when a valid referred customer becomes a paying customer.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, commissions are calculated from the actual amount paid, excluding refunds, chargebacks, taxes, credits, discounts, failed payments, and similar adjustments where applicable.

Commissions are tracked first as pending and do not become payable until after the 30-day refund window has passed and the commission clears review.

Cash payouts are processed manually in v1. The minimum payout is $50 unless we say otherwise in writing.

In v1, cash payouts are made manually to the PayPal email saved on your account. We do not collect bank details for affiliate payouts in this version.

You are responsible for making sure your PayPal email is accurate. We are not responsible for delays or failed payouts caused by incorrect payout information.

Commissions may be held, voided, reversed, or clawed back if a customer payment is refunded, disputed, charged back, invalid, duplicated, or linked to suspected abuse or misattribution.

We may review referral activity, payment activity, conversion patterns, account links, abuse signals, and fraud flags before releasing payouts.

Self-referrals are not allowed. You may not create duplicate accounts, fake accounts, misleading signups, artificial transactions, or controlled-account chains to generate rewards or commissions.

We may hold, void, or reverse rewards and commissions connected to suspected misuse.

You must be honest and accurate when sharing Matrix Codes / Matilda. You must not make misleading claims, unlawful claims, therapy claims, medical claims, earnings claims, or guarantee specific outcomes.

You must not use spam, scraping, impersonation, deceptive scarcity, unlawful advertising methods, or prohibited paid ads using our protected brand terms unless we have given written permission.

You are responsible for complying with UK GDPR, PECR, advertising rules, platform rules, and equivalent local laws that apply to the way you promote the programme.

This includes rules around email marketing, cookies or tracking, consent where required, misleading statements, and direct marketing compliance.

To operate referral rewards and affiliate commissions, we may process referral codes, attribution records, purchase activity, account status, PayPal payout email, commission history, payout records, fraud-review records, and related support or compliance notes.

That processing is also described in our Privacy Policy. You should only use personal data obtained through the programme in lawful ways and only for the purposes clearly permitted by us and by law.

You are responsible for your own tax, reporting, declaration, registration, and record-keeping obligations relating to rewards or commissions you receive.

We do not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. We may be required to keep or disclose payout-related information where required by law, payment providers, tax authorities, or regulators.

Referral rewards and affiliate commissions are not guaranteed income. We do not promise that you will earn any particular amount or any money at all.

This is not a chain-recruitment or MLM programme.

We may change, pause, or end the programme at any time, including commission rates, reward types, eligibility rules, payout timing, payout methods, or review standards.

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where we reasonably believe the programme is being misused.
